Vidyasagar College of Education organized a consumer awareness program on 26 June 2025 in collaboration with the Department of Consumer Affairs and Fair Business Practices, Government of West Bengal. The program was started with an auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony by Honorable Principal Ma’am, Dr. Savita Mishra, Guest Faculty, and Students. The khaada and memento were offered to the guest, and it was followed by the inaugural address by Respected Principal Madam.
Guests have informed about common rights, grievance redressal mechanisms, and tips for safe consumer practices. Pamphlets were distributed among the students and teachers. The program was concluded by the vote of thanks by Mrs. Sananda Sen followed by refreshments and a photo session. At last, the highest achievement attendance percentage certificate was also awarded to Miss Sayantani Bhowal.
