Teachers’ Day is celebrated on 5th September to honour Dr. S. Radhakrishnan’s birthday. It is on this day that teachers’ hard work and efforts towards teaching and learning is highly appreciated. The students of Vidyasagar College of Education observes this day with celebrations to honour the teachers for their tireless dedication. The programme begins with the ignition of lamp by the honourable Principal and the teachers followed by cake cutting ceremony. Various performances like singing, dancing, dramatizing and games are held to make the programme more joyful for the teachers.
