Every year Vidyasagar College of Education holds a state level seminar on themes related with teacher education, its innovative practices, problems and future trends. Discussions and lectures are given by the renowned delegates of the colleges of the state. The college has also organized national seminar on “Achievement of Quality in Teacher Education Programmes: an Expectation” on 19th and 20th February 2015 to prepare effective and worthy teachers for providing and making education more qualitative. The main aim of the seminar was to welcome valuable suggestions, ideas, experiences and knowledge from experienced professionals in the field of education and implement the same in the teaching process.
